I make
inventions.
Interactive installations, physical-digital experiences and prototypes for places, people and stories.

I am an interaction designer, creative technologist and inventor. I design and build interactive installations, computer games and physical-digital experiences for clients.

I am an interaction designer and creative technologist specialising in interactive installations, computer games, physical computing and experimental prototypes. I combine visual design, storytelling, electronics and custom software to create experiences that invite people to play, explore and participate.
For more than a decade, I have developed physical-digital experiences for museums, aquariums, cultural institutions and commercial clients. My work spans the complete process—from research, concepts and interaction design to programming, electronics, fabrication, testing, troubleshooting and final installation.
I can join a project at an early conceptual stage, develop and test a working prototype, or take responsibility for a complete technical and creative solution. My practice includes touchscreen applications, sensor-based installations, microcontrollers, sound, projection, image processing, game development and custom interfaces.
I am particularly interested in assignments where technology must feel intuitive, playful and meaningful rather than technical for its own sake. My experience as an inventor and facilitator helps me communicate complex ideas clearly and develop solutions around the people who will actually use them.
Two connected practices
I design and build physical-digital inventions through MLH1407. With Guldastronaut, Pauline Fredskilde and I help children and adults learn to make their own.
