TRÆKFUGL: IMAGE, SOUND AND ARCHITECTURE

Trækfugl was a site-specific audiovisual installation created for H.C. Andersen Festivals in Odense in collaboration with composer Nicky Bendix. The work used rear projection to let digitally processed imagery and animation inhabit the existing architecture.

I developed the visual world and technical image treatment, then adapted the animated material to the dimensions, surfaces and viewing conditions of the site. The work was designed as a visual counterpart to the composition, so image, sound and architecture formed one installation rather than separate media layers.
