Soundpong — Bluetooth Sound Paddles
Two Bluetooth-enabled table-tennis paddles that transform play into live digital sound.
For Soundpong, I built two custom paddles using piezo and touch sensors. Player input triggered different sounds and timbres from a custom sound library running on a computer.
Arduino handled the sensor-based hardware interaction, while Max/MSP/Jitter was used to create and run the real-time digital sound environment. The project combined physical interaction, embedded electronics and playful audio software.
