FROM DRAWING TO DIGITAL AQUARIUM
For Fjord & Bælt Centre, I developed an installation where visitors drew a fish, had it digitised, and then saw it enter a shared underwater world. The work connects an immediately recognisable analogue action with a living 3D environment that changes as new visitors contribute.
I designed and developed the drawing-to-screen flow, the Unity aquarium and the real-time import pipeline. The system imports visitors’ PNG drawings as textures on animated 3D fish; Unity also receives live control data from Max/MSP via UDP.
