Created for Fjord & Bælt in Kerteminde, Blow the Jellyfish is a hands-on museum installation that explains why jellyfish can suddenly gather near the shore. A simple on-screen narrative turns the relationship between wind, water movement and jellyfish into a question visitors can investigate rather than a fact they are simply told.
I designed and built a custom interaction rig that brings together a hand-cranked propeller, Arduino-based electronics and a screen-based interface. The physical mechanism gives visitors a tangible way to think about wind, while the display combines short educational prompts with visual feedback. The prototype process covered mechanical fabrication, electronics integration and testing of the complete visitor experience.
